First Public Outreach Meetings for LAX Master Plan Specific Plan Amendment Study Set for March 15 and 18
LOS ANGELES, CA --
"We look forward to hearing from our neighbors about their ideas formodernizing LAX, and limiting noise and traffic problems in theircommunities," said Lydia H. Kennard, executive director of Los AngelesWorld Airports (LAWA), which owns and operates LAX and three other airportsin the Southern California region. "These meetings are a critical first step in a new, more responsive public process. We invite the public to voice its views and sentiments on the best way to improve LAX and help make it a good neighbor."
